Vehicles in CM - Copper - 01-10-2007

What vehicle would you most like to see in Combat Mission that has been ommitted?

Personally I would like either mounted troops or motorcycle troops.

In CMAK, I would like to see Cromwells and their variants, and M36 Jacksons. All the ETO stuff that didn't make it in to CMAK...that would be just fine.

Motorcycle troops and cavalry would be fun too :)

While we're on a roll, how about jungle terrain, huts and Japanese troops/tanks? Let's fight Brits/Indians vs the Japanese at Kohimoor, kick them out of India, chase em through Burma. How about the Aussies along the Kokoda trail or at Milne Bay? US marines storming Japanese fortifications in the perfect assault/defend setup? The doomed defences of Singapore and the Phillipines?

Yeah that would have been nice. Have you tried the Vietnam pack that is available for CM?

I think wagons are perhaps the most common unit that has been omitted.

I would like to see PzKpfw NbFz VI and T-28 in CM

PzKpfw NbFz VI - There were only 5 of these made. Although 3 did take part in the battle of Norway (the British knocked one out with an AT gun) but they were mostly used for propoganda to prove the germans had Heavy Tanks.

T28 - The original plan was for five prototype vehicles with a production total of 25. However only two were ordered and none saw combat. Currently one of these tanks can be viewed at the Patton Museum in Kentucky.

I agree -- Motorcycle troops and wagons should be added -- especially MC troops as were widely used in early EF and North Africa.

I think the tanks are mostly covered pretty well.

LMFAO....that T28 looks like a Hetzer on steroids with a massive sink plunger on the front in place of a main gun. Eek

cheers

It was called a Super Heavy Tank but was in fact a Super Heavy Tank Destroyer.
