Restoring default .wav files - ATCS - 01-29-2007

First of all, I acknowledge I'm a dumbass for not backing up my files. With that out of the way, I d/l a sound mod for CMBB, installed and am not happy with it. Is there any easy way to return to the original sounds, other than re-installing? I know I can backup all my mods into another bmp folder so I won't lose all those cool armor/grid/uniform mods, but that seems like a hard way to do it. Any suggestions?

Mike

what files do you need ? do you know the names of them?
Perhaps I can zip the originals up and mail them to you

It's a total of 162 files. I d/l the mod from CMMODS, the mod is titled "NC_CMBB_SOUNDS". I could provide a list of all 162 I guess. It might be easier to just replace all the wav files. I just don't want to lose my bmp mods, essentially.

Why whats wrong with the files you downloaded...?

Why not overwrite them with another sound mod... the one I downloaded from CMMODS is excellent.

There is a sound mod that nearly all the wav files have a static crackle at the end of each file....i had to edit the last 0.25 seconds off over 100+ files in a MP3 edit program to get rid of them, i can't remember the name but that's one of the mods that i use sounds from. Is that the problem with the sounds you've installed?

To replace your old wav files just install a second copy of the game to a temporary directory and copy and paste the wav folder over, it'll be a damn site quicker than having someone email you that many wav files.

cheers
