Patton - K K Rossokolski - 03-01-2007 RE: Patton - Big Dawg - 03-01-2007 Hi Rod you M%^*!~ F*#%!@ Today I went to my M%^*!~ F*#%!@ job where I met a new M%^*!~ F*#%!@ case that was just assigned to me. That M%^*!~ F*#%!@ had a story to tell!!! You see it is all a M%^*!~ F*#%!@ misunderstanding! He had no idea there was 2 kilos of coke in the M%^*!~ F*#%!@ trunk! He made it quite clear to me that the M%^*!~ F*#%!@ car was not his, but a "friend" had let him borrow it for the day. M%^*!~ F*#%!@!!!! I hope this helps! BTW I have no answer to that M%^*!~ F*#%!@ question. Jack RE: Patton - K K Rossokolski - 03-01-2007 Silly me. Should have read your reply to my Patton post I can understand your concern about the car -all that dust from the coke. Small bag though -here we usually buy it in 25 kg bags. Great on a cold Canberra night. BTW -did you get the Arnhem game?? Cheers RodC RE: Patton - Mr. Guberman - 03-01-2007 Indeed, all recollections of Patton indicate he was in fact extremely profane, in a way that might be called mild these days due to the evolution of the language and its usage. I tend to find the "dumb bastard..." bit to be the funniest. It is amazing how incomprehensibly vain he was, really amazing. Cheers RE: Patton - Digger - 03-01-2007 I think that anyone who could comfortably strap two shiny pistols to their hips in a rear area and still take themselves seriously would maybe just perhaps have a little problem with their own ego. Classic FIGJAM case Great men, always seem to have their flaws. History judges them on their actions but sometimes makes allowances for what may be considered human failings as long as they get the job done. There is little room for warriors in peacetime, however, and it is at this time that these failings become politcically expedient. Matt ~Digger RE: Patton - majog - 03-03-2007 KKR, In the Patton Papers it quotes him as saying that and more. I much prefer the Rommel Papers though as they are more tactical and less esoteric |
