Does size matter? - von Heimberg - 03-03-2007 I love the bigger scenarios. They give you more room to maneuver and usually a great force mix. I also think they're more forgiving if you make a mistake or your opponent catches you with your pants down. I guess the downside would be dealing with mass quantities of transport, which was a reality, and slow turnaround time on game turns. What's your take on the big ones??? :chin: Now with that said, can I interest anyone in a large battle? Any 9 or 10 size scn will do as would either side. I can do 2-3 turns a week. First response gets the slot. Take it easy, Matt RE: Does size matter? - Von Earlmann - 03-03-2007 I have a brand new WF scenario.............large.............let me know if you want to give it it a try.......turn rate does not have be a breathtaking speed.......just need to see how it plays out. RE: Does size matter? - Desert rat - 03-03-2007 Size does matter...sometimes, perhaps Big Dawg can elaborate:) Try "Another lost victory" amazing scenario. Earl...I would love to have those files if it is able to be played 1 to 1. RE: Does size matter? - Von Earlmann - 03-03-2007 It is playable h2h.......or 1 to1........you do need someone to play against so I can set it up........I no longer release any actual scenario (.scn) files RE: Does size matter? - Montana Mud - 03-04-2007 RE: Does size matter? - Big Dawg - 03-04-2007 Rat is correct about 2 things. Another Lost Victory is a pretty good scenario & size does matter in my former profession;) RE: Does size matter? - Tide1 - 03-04-2007 LOL!!! Good one Jack RE: Does size matter? - Von Earlmann - 03-04-2007 Montana......Matt has agreed to play........I will keep you in mind for future games tho. RE: Does size matter? - Montana Mud - 03-04-2007 Please do. Thanks Tim RE: Does size matter? - von Heimberg - 03-04-2007 OK thanks guys. I'm taking Earl up on his offer. I'm sure it's another Von Earlmann gem! Matt |
