I was wondering if any tests had been carried out on the effect of flamethrowers on troops and armour. Does infantry always break when attacked with a flamethrower and what are typical casualties? And what effect do flamethrowers have on armour, opentop I guess it can be quite deadly, but do flamethrowers have any effect on tanks?

As for fires generally, whether started by flamethrowers or shellfire, here's an interesting snippet from the Cmbb Manual -
p134 - Fires often start 'small' and have no effect on gameplay. But they can grow (and spread) to large fires which cause all units to exit.
