MS tends to use the general population as beta testers. Because they can, this is what 'monopoly' means. Just look at the size of the xp service pack when it came out. nearly 1/2 the size of the os itself. I stuck with '98 se for 18 months untill xp sp2 was settled in and have had few if any probs. People forget these things. Vista will no doubt get a huge service pack too. Game companies are a good yardstick, when top end games start saying 'needs vista'. Then i start thinking about it seriously. Musashi
