Good start scenarios - metier9 - 04-07-2007 Hello people, I just i got Combat Mission (all of them) and wonder which scenarios are good to start with? Preferably CMBB, its been like 3+ years since ive played any combat mission (lost the origional copys i had) Thanks :) RE: Good start scenarios - mcwkjoyce - 04-07-2007 I think a nice simple one that isn't too large but has combined forces is "A Warm Place to Sleep" Try it first as the Germans vs. the AI, then the Russians vs. the AI. After that, come back to the message board and look for some human opponents. Nothing beats playing head-to-head. Rarely do I play the AI anymore. RE: Good start scenarios - metier9 - 04-08-2007 Koen you seem to be after some punters :P off to find some gridded winter terrain and then on with the game :) Question: In a PBEM game, how quick do people expect to get the file back? RE: Good start scenarios - Koen - 04-08-2007 Quote:In a PBEM game, how quick do people expect to get the file back? Best thing to do is to decide yourself how fast you are and tell that to your opponents. The speed depends also on the size of the battle. When you're new to the game start off with some small battles in pbem. Don't be afraid to tell your opponents that you're new, this way they'll understand your 'small' battles and low speed. The AI had the same idea as me to send the tanks around the outside and had a mini kursk . On to the russian game now. p.s. got a major victory on russian and german RE: Good start scenarios - Mad Russian - 04-09-2007 metier9 Wrote:Hello people, Try this thread. It's still one of my favorites to play even though it was one of the first scenarios I ever made. Does that mean that you are going to do a review on the scenario at The Scenario Depot II?
