Good start scenarios - metier9 - 04-07-2007

Hello people,

I think a nice simple one that isn't too large but has combined forces is "A Warm Place to Sleep" Try it first as the Germans vs. the AI, then the Russians vs. the AI. After that, come back to the message board and look for some human opponents. Nothing beats playing head-to-head. Rarely do I play the AI anymore.

Koen you seem to be after some punters :P

off to find some gridded winter terrain and then on with the game :)

Question: In a PBEM game, how quick do people expect to get the file back?

Best thing to do is to decide yourself how fast you are and tell that to your opponents.
The speed depends also on the size of the battle.
When you're new to the game start off with some small battles in pbem.
Don't be afraid to tell your opponents that you're new, this way they'll understand your 'small' battles and low speed.

A Warm Place to Sleep, fun scenario :) Really gets the tension by how little your LOS is. The AI had the same idea as me to send the tanks around the outside and had a mini kursk Big Grin. On to the russian game now.

p.s. got a major victory Big Grin on russian and german Big Grin

Thanks I appreciate the kind words. It's still one of my favorites to play even though it was one of the first scenarios I ever made.

Does that mean that you are going to do a review on the scenario at The Scenario Depot II?

Good Hunting.
