The Friendly Fire Zone.... - Mad Russian - 04-13-2007 POS says that tanks and others will fire within 30 meters of friendly troops. I say they won't. I have given them the firing orders but if they have an LOS to friendly troops in the 30 meter zone I have never seen them fire. The TacAI always cancels the order. Anybody else see friendly fire within 30 meters of friendly troops they have an LOS to and know that they are in there. Now I have seen friendly troops fire on each other readily at night. But we are talking in the daylight with an LOS... I've never seen it happen. What about you? Good Hunting. But when the turn starts and the TacAI takes over they won't fire in too closely. So the number of meters is 20 and not 30. Good to know. Thanks for the test. Good Hunting.
