K'44: Soft Attack Range Discrepancies - HirooOnoda - 04-16-2007 List, Just an observation while I was playing K'44 tonight. Most German SS infantry companies have a soft attack range of 2. I assume that is due to the plethora of MG42s. Yet, the SdKfz 10/4 20mm only has a soft-attack range of 1. I think it is safe to say that one of those 20mm death-mobiles should be able to reach out farther than the venerable 7.92mm that the MG42 was spewing out. Opinions? In any case, this is an OOB that was created by Jim Dunnam and I am not sure that Jim would recall exactly what he was thinking when he assigned the 2 range to the units in question - I suspect it was a hold over from the Normandy OOB which he and WIg Graves created.
