Anyone tried Soviet Afgan War? - Sgt Fury - 06-18-2007

If so, I'd love to hear some feedback. I tried Eagle Strike a few years ago and was not overwhelmed, but I guess I thought I was going to get ASL at that point. The new game's venue seems interesting so please post if you have tried it out.

Cheers,
Fury

Ahh...now I understand that SAW is what I am looking for and I see the posts below. :-)

Specifically, as guerrilla actions, does SAW seem better than Vietnam? I'm thinking of picking this one up and getting back into SQB (I sold ES).

Both games are quite different - terrain and weapons are the most obvious. I'm playing both at the moment.

I would grab SAW. Some really fun scenarios - plus there is quite a bit of interest in it because it is a new game - so you will find plenty of opponants.

SAW is a great game. It has got me back into the SQB genre.
