New Game Listing - Copper - 06-21-2007 Campaign Series - Matrix Edition Is now available for selection in your Games Owned listings. Go to your member pages and edit your details to make the changes. BE SURE to hold down the Control Key to select multiple choices!! RE: New Game Listing - Reddog - 06-21-2007 Now that was real quick... great job... thanks. RE: New Game Listing - Falkenhayen - 06-21-2007 Hi Guys, Here's an even more important question in my opinion though it might already be answered, if so, I'm sorry, but here it goes: As I'm sure I'm not the only one, many of us are going to be completing our first ME CS scenario and will be needing to record it in the completed game section for our ladder, records etc... Is this already up in the scenario section or are we still waiting on this? And if we are waiting, when will these scenario's become avaibable for our after action reports?? Thanks, -Falk. RE: New Game Listing - Copper - 06-21-2007 if the Scenario you play isn't listed, enter it into the database, but use the Regular EF/ WF/ RS listings. All other stock Scenarios will simply use the current listings as normal. We don't want to separate Matrix from the rest of the groupings and eventually will consolidate All the expansions/addons into one large category for each game. AARs can be made of any scenario from the matrix edition as of this time RE: New Game Listing - Falkenhayen - 06-21-2007 Red Devil, How exactly do I go about doing this? Sorry for the confusion/amatuerness of this question. -Falk. RE: New Game Listing - Copper - 06-21-2007 Entering scenarios into the DB? Go to section G4 and choose scenarios along the right is a menu one of the choices is add scenario to the Database For CS scenarios you'll need a bit of info notably the size modifier, which has a separate page to access and it explains how to calculate the SM. the other info such as scenario designer, # of turns, sides involved etc.. you get from the scenario briefing. the great thing about windows is being able to have all these windows open at the same time making it easy to tab back and forth to enter the data It sounds like a lot, it is, but it's not hard to do, once you do it, and it gets easier each time you add a new one. go there and look around RE:New Game Listing - Fubar1 - 06-21-2007 RedDevil Wrote:if the Scenario you play isn't listed, enter it into the database, but use the Regular EF/ WF/ RS listings. I posted it as a regular WF scenario and copied the description as in the game. However, I did note in the scenario description that it was a Matrix stock scenrio. RE: New Game Listing - Nort - 06-21-2007 I just entered "Old Friends" as a Matrix Edition scenario. Is that going to cause a problem? RE:New Game Listing - Huib Versloot - 06-21-2007 RE: New Game Listing - Digger - 06-21-2007 Here's an idea, How about we get rid of all of the confusiing listings under each category and simply list each scenario as: East Front, West Front or Rising Sun The reality is that the Matrix edition will eventually splat everything else anyway and all of the old scenarios are backwardly compatible. All a designer has to do is state the scenario is Matrix edition, similar to what happened when PB#1 was released, which is now supportable under the Matrix edition. I say we go with it, who really cares about Battle Pack 1, Sea lion etc Time for a change and yes I will volunteer to do it if necessary, I like order. Matt |
