Excellent, sounds like the issue was fixed then. The problem with it all is that it *can* be edited to where the historical result happens all the time but I avoided this because, if I did that, it allows the possibility for the US to even better and extremely overwealm the defenders or isolate them in their fortifications like the stock game allowed.

I like the consider the historical result as the best possible result given the circumstances, and the average result as a little harder slog (since we know the Germans do need the benifit of chance). In other words, the historical result should be if the US does well, and anything less would take a little longer to get off the beach.

okay... the inevitable question... What's the impact on games in progress of these updates?

The OOB related changes will take immediate effect ie. the replacement rates, the corrected AT gun defense, corrected unit ratings and anything else mentioned that I cannot recall. Beyond that, the specific changes to the scenario will only happen if you restart a game (like the change in the defenses of Omaha beach). But that is it. There shouldn't be any problem with updating it if you have a game in progress.
