War in Russia by Gary Grigsby - Mad Baron - 08-22-2007 I my opinion, the best grand strategy game ever made for the pc, 1993's War in Russia, is now available for free download! I won't go into more detail, and just post the download website and a website that displays the back of the original game box, with details about the game. It is 1.62 MB zipped. One additional zipped file is located in the file when you unzip and extract everything, and it is the original tank and aircraft icons. That file can just be set aside and you can always substitute them for the 3 new icon files in the game later if you want. It's cool. for those of you into making scenarios, it has unit type (vehicle) composition and numbers available for lots of fights. and I think it is historically accurate.
