Can You Please Help Me Out? - Mr Grumpy - 10-12-2007 Guy's, I really need some players to step forward and test some scenarios, i have never quite understood why players don't like to help out testing :chin: as it just involves playing PzC scenarios and giving your opinion, it can be great fun to see a scenario evolve from an idea to a fully fledged H2H scenario ready to be released to the whole community! :) You don't have to be an expert, but you should understand all the rules and tactics (which rules out complete newbies) there is no win/lose/draw we just need to know the scenarios good/bad points, if you don't want to test with a stranger why not ask an old opponent to test with you and will not be out of pocket on points for your efforts as you will receive ladder points for testing, so how about it...............;) Have a look at this list and see if any scenarios catch your eye....i am here to help you through the whole process, there is a wealth of info in the H2H forum at the top of this page, you can post here, PM or email me at [email protected] Kursk43 Clash of Steel at Prokhorovka (PBEM Scoring)_Alt 30 turns Rzhev42 Vyazma Re-balanced 40 turns Minsk44 The Last Ditch Effort - [HTH]_Alt 20 turns RE: Can You Please Help Me Out? - Sgt Barker - 10-12-2007 Having played for a while now I think I know an answer. Time and taking the job seriously. It just takes time to play a game like this. Figure at minimum 10-20 minutes a turn. More if it’s big and/or I’m taking some notes (is that sad? “I/45th Arty Ovrigogo” so I don’t forget, again, to get the bloody unit in range, and that sort of thing). Being old, employed, in a family way and with all the rest of life competing, play time is at a premium. And playtesting, done right (which any who volunteer for it in PzC will want to do), is even more time consuming than a regular game. Nobody wants to do it and come up with a simple “Great, loved it.” Or worse, a criticism that is bogus, based on something missed by the tester. To be valuable a playtester wants to contribute, and that takes thought and time. I praise to the skies those of you who contribute to the game by putting out scenarios. It’s the life blood of a wargame like this. Lack of playtesters is a drag. I blame society. :hissy: RE: Can You Please Help Me Out? - typhoon - 10-12-2007 I will try anyone of the above three if it helps though I'm not promising to be too fast these days. So anyone up for one give us a shout and away we can go. RE: Can You Please Help Me Out? - Mike Bowen - 10-13-2007 Hi Foul I am back from a very wet Dorset and could do the odd game, lets face it most games I play are odd. Most of my regular sparring partners are off on business trips or trying to make their partners happy. In my view based on Mrs B a complete waste of time and effort just live with agro. Mike RE: Can You Please Help Me Out? - Mr Grumpy - 10-13-2007 Hello Gent's, Thank you all for helping me out with these scenarios, i have decided to concentrate testing on the Volcano Man  Kursk and Minsk H2H scenarios.
