The Great War 1914 -1918 - Antoni Chmielowski - 10-26-2007 Me & Bidermann have decided to play this 278 turn monster as a challenge ! (:)). as we have no lives outside of playing ACOW 3. I am playing Central Powers and we are already on turn 5., hopefully we will finish before we both retire ! RE: The Great War 1914 -1918 - Currahee - 10-26-2007 Oh innocent, noble lambs, sacrificed on the altar of war....the poor, bloody infantry... RE: The Great War 1914 -1918 - Antoni Chmielowski - 10-26-2007 Under my briiliant leadership its going well for the Central Powers so far ! (only 270 + turns to go !) RE: The Great War 1914 -1918 - Bidermann - 10-26-2007 WE are pulling back to a strong defence line. The BEF will stop you.[/u] RE: The Great War 1914 -1918 - jonnymacbrown - 11-16-2007 Good luck you guys! I'm playing the 2nd round of a Napoleonic play-test for a 257 turn Watlerloo campaign. Did the 1st one (Allied major victory) in about 3 months. We are now @ turn 55 and it's taken about 3 weeks, so it's possible to play these monsters but it takes some real commitment. von ege ;) RE: The Great War 1914 -1918 - Bidermann - 11-17-2007 we are 35 turns in now.Its february 1915, the Armies of the Russia had some early victorys capturing Konigsburg, but there are being pushed back with heavy loss. The Westen Front is stable with both sides inflicting heavy losses on each other with little gain. Its going to be a long war. RE: The Great War 1914 -1918 - jonnymacbrown - 11-17-2007 WOW! The Russ captured Konigsberg! Some heads must have rolled there! Any second fronts opening up? von ege RE: The Great War 1914 -1918 - Bidermann - 11-17-2007 there are a few small actions in the far east. RE: The Great War 1914 -1918 - jonnymacbrown - 11-17-2007 I'm sure that the Italians are already negociating with Perfidious Albion. My advice to the Central Powers: Watch your back! von ege :smoke: RE: The Great War 1914 -1918 - Antoni Chmielowski - 11-17-2007 Prinz von Egan Wrote:I'm sure that the Italians are already negociating with Perfidious Albion.
