Major Matrix bug - majog - 12-23-2007

Jim Liang just sent me the first turn of Crisis at Slonim. Why my Russian infantry moved next to his mounted motorcycle platoons at 14,29 or 15, 30 they started shooting at them and would not stop until after the Russians had either been disrupted or moved back. I tried the turn 5 times with same results.

I attached the turn if others want to try it.

Mounted cavalry have the same problem.

It is taken care of in 1.03 though.

I am wrapping my portion of it up this weekend. Hopefully testing will be smooth and it should be out in a couple weeks.

If I'm not wrong on motorcycles was mounted MG-34 so they wasn't harmless, even more they could bite quite hard. I think this isn't so stupid like it sounds like. Personally I wouldn't modify it.

Or I didn't get clear the massage and it is about that motorcycles is shooting until result is different than "no results"(for example 10 times).

The bug is that they don't stop shooting. They get off like 50 to 100 fires until they disrupt or push a unit back. Also if it is kept in I think the accuracy needs to be reduced. Have you ever tried firing from a moving vehicle?

Sure, You have absolutely right it needs to be reduced but not disarm.
I've never firing from a moving vehicle but when I run, yes. With burst it's quite easy to hit the target with ad least 20% of fired bullets.
