File identification - K K Rossokolski - 01-26-2008 Can any computer ace tell me .......What is a file with suffix .ACE? RE: File identification - Mr. Guberman - 01-26-2008 maybe this will help... http://filext.com/file-extension/ACE cheers Curt RE: File identification - K K Rossokolski - 01-26-2008 Whilst I did some Classical Greek at school, Curt, I have long forgotten it. If you could point me to a site in English, it may be more helpful....but thanks RE: File identification - Mr. Guberman - 01-26-2008 Rod, .ACE, I believe, regarding your inquiry, would indicate an "archived" file, i.e. "zipped"...you would need the "WINACE" archiver to open it...if so, I got mine from the "Blitz" file data base. Hope this helps. Cheers Curt RE: File identification - K K Rossokolski - 01-26-2008 Thanks mate -makes sense RE: File identification - Mr. Guberman - 01-26-2008 Rod, I see we are browsing the boards simultaneously. It's not that I don't want to make a move...but am just trying to finish a report, due in Tallahassee, Monday A.M. ...will have to deliver it personally unless I can find a tech who is not too busy...on Sunday. I just look up occasionally from the writing and check the boards at the Blitz...at ???$ an hour...salary really...doh. Will be upon you ASAP. Cheers Curt |
