Need a SPWW2 Opponent - Chairman Mao - 03-20-2008

Currently I am #67 or so on the Blitz's ladder (aka Chairman Mao)

Care to play a mirrored set? That would be two identical games with sides reversed.

Meeting, delay or defend are all fine and the following are automatically acceptable.

GE vs USSR 8/42 on

GE vs USA 6/44 on

GE vs GB 6/44 on

I would happy to consider all others although I'm not too big on the Asian Theater.

To avoid heated debates on historical realism I tend to favor computer picked sides deployed by the players.

With the exception of slots 0-1, and 16-19 all are available.

Let me know if you are interested.

I'm up. This weekend might be a bit slow (off to the beach), but I usually play just as quickly as you're willing to.

Slot 2. GE v US, Aug 44, computer picked mirrored would be swell.

Let's hope I get some barges!

Hello Guys,

I have a possible better solution than using the computer to pick your forces.. it's called a 'moderated' game.. this is where a 3rd party picks the map, and purchases the forces for both sides.. in this case the 3rd part would be .. me :)

I'm offering to set you up with a historically 'correct' battle.. all you need to do is let me know what slot you want to play it in, point requirements, countries, battle time and type..

I do the purchase and set the passwords.. you guys get to deploy and have a battle..

I've been doing this for some time, and those who have played the games have been very favorable in their comments..

let me know of you are interested.. it will take a couple of days to set up..

[On my Mac Cry from the beach]

That sounds awesome, graybeard. Count me in for SS panzergrenadier Kp(a) companies with the assault rifles! ;)

Ok Greybeard - If Seabolt is game so am I - All I ask is the you make the two games as identical as possible. Slots 002 & 003.

Seabolt - I'm occupied this weekend too but generally you can expect your turns returned within 24 hours.

Good luck!

It occurs that no one gave graybeard all of the specs that he requested for his kind service.

I'll suggest:
US vs GE (mirrorred)
Slots 2 and 3
August 1944
2500 to 3500 points (as long as everyone's equal, of course)
90 by 120 battlefront (same map both games, if convenient)

I would not suggest identical turnouts for the mirrored games. I'm anal and will count panzers if I know his German crew is identical to mine in the mirror game.

Of course, chairman mao should let us know if any of this doesn't meet his needs.

This is all fine - I tend to like my maps bigger with three objectives rather than shotgun objectives. But variety is the spice of life. Let it rip!

Hello Boys..

aarrr.. I was sort of expecting and e-mail from you two.. didn't check the thread for a while..

I'm really busy this weekend and won't have alot of time, but if you can stand to wait a few more days, I can get this together..
