Imperial holdover: Gurkhas flock to British army - Dog Soldier - 05-18-2008 I found the following article today short, but very interesting. IIRC the Gurkhas terrorized the AK in the NA campaign. The Gurkhas would slip out at night with their famous knives and kill a few sleeping axis troops then vanish. Yeah, Gurkha exploits are well known, very wise of the Brit government to continue this tradition and maintain an elite group of some of the best soldiers on the planet.
