RE: Off to Hawai'i - Outlaw Josey Wales - 05-21-2008 If you have never been to Hawaii and you go to a luau, I suggest not paying the extra for the vip seats. Only advantage is you sit opposite the center of the stage during the show. So much going on, no problem seeing everything from either side. Plus vip, they bring you your food, a little of everything. When we were at one, we had to go thru the line like a buffet, but we got to get whatever we wanted, so if something wasn't appealing, we didn't have to get any. The shredded pork is the best pork my wife and I ever tasted. I was stationed at Schofield Barracks on Oahu for 4 yrs. I can only assume they do the same things on the other islands. It sure was nice even tho I spent about 2 1/2 yrs on deployments and field exercises.
