few randomized questions for your pleasure/pain;

-is it safe to change graphics and sound files with 1.03?
-do any of the old/current blitz mods work/with on 1.03?
-what do you use for mods on your 1.03?

-is there a way to download ALL CS scenarios at once, without selecting
them 1 at a time?

-why didn't the Germs throw the 120mm mortar into the 1/2 track like
the 81mm? make it mobile...more firepower...??

-asside from arty and some specific vehicles, why no smoke machines?

Yes, replacing graphics (UNIT BMPs, terrain) or sound files shouldn't be a problem.

There is a USER MOD folder available with the 1.03 UPDATE that has most of the recent MODS that function with MCS.

I do NOT recommend adding the older MODS to MCS.

Probably from the FTP portion of the Blitz, but I would recommend adding them to your install ONE AT A TIME, testing them to see if they work, to ensure you do not add corrupted files which will screw your install.

I would assume that the 120mm Mortar mounted on a HT was not done, due to the inability of the vehicle to carry enough ammunition to make it worthwhile.

Incidentially I believe it was the Isrealis who first did this, by mounting a 120mm in the rear of a M3 HT, a seperate vehicle was required to carry ammunition for the mortar.

I would say that it was a combination of vehicle availability, ammunition supply and tactical doctrine as to why the Germans did not carry this out
