thought you might be interested - Mr. Guberman - 07-08-2008 ...while sitting at the bedside... ...heard this "folk" song, I think, maybe the 3rd or 4th time since the late nineties...but heard it again, last week. I determined to listen who and what was it. Indeed...the song is "Cold Missouri Waters". For all of us (and all of us "old sailors" too, indeed), I found myself (...incredibly...yipes...) compelled to seek the source of this tale.
