Fast A/I processing - Liquid_Sky - 08-08-2008 I have to say, this has been bothering me for a long time, and I have finally figured out the solution... The problem: When I hit the end turn button, it takes about 10-15 min for the enemy A/I to calculate its turn. I have read many posts on the subject, with a lot of people saying: Whats the problem? :conf: Others saying, yeah, it does take too long.... Well...let me clear it all up for you... When the game is in 3D mode, and you hit end turn, it takes much longer for the game to process...even with Fast A/I processing on. If you switch to 2D first (or play that way normally) then the A/I is blazingly fast. I ususally play Normandy's long campaign, in 3D, and the A/I was taking about 10-20 min to do its turn. Now I switch to 2D and its about a min...if that.:happy: Hope this helps. For those big CG replays where you think you have seen enough and want to move on to your turn, tap the Esc key and the replay will end bringing up the turn dialog to start your turn. Dog Solider |
