Crazy behavior - Jobu88 - 09-05-2008 Anybody ever experienced this: Fighting a largish battle as the Russians, at fairly close range 100-300 meters, with most of my infantry in houses or woods. On several of the last few turns, one of my squads has started the turn with a red "fire" line aimed at a German unit, but then for a few seconds during the turn the red line shifts and locks on to one of my Russian units! The squad doing the shooting begins to rotate to face the new "target", but after about 5 seconds it jumps back to the original target. It's happened with at least two different squads, neither one of which is in any danger of being captured, and that shouldn't matter anyway since prisoners don't take up arms for the other side. Never seen it before. Anyone else ? I can provide a turn file if anyone wants to view it for themselves. RE: Crazy behavior - Victor Charlie - 09-05-2008 Yeah its friendly fire. It happens a lot during night battles. RE: Crazy behavior - Copper - 09-05-2008 Yeah Ive seen it happen a lot during night battles too!! |
