Couple Qs for MC - Aaron - 11-18-2008 Had some people ask me to make changes in my scenario which led me to a few Qs. 1.Now according to the manual any Eng unit (non-bridge) can clear rubble, correct? Even if its not flagged for mine clear? And what about anti-tank ditch destruction? 2.It also states any Eng unit improves the ability to dig in, correct? 3. Does TIS come into effect during dawn/dusk turns or just night turns? I dont have time to run tests and was wondering who knows these answers already. Your help would be appreciated and answers the Qs of a few players. Aaron RE: Couple Qs for MC - Ricky B - 11-18-2008 For #3, TIS comes into play any time fire is at the max visibility range for the turn. So yes, typically dawn and dusk have vis of 2 so any unit that can direct fire at 2 hexes with TIS should have an advantage if the target isn't, or if the weather/vis are low during a day turn also. Rick RE: Couple Qs for MC - Sgt Fury - 11-18-2008 I know the answer to #3 for sure. It is any turn where firing takes place at max visibility. So even a day turn with vis=2 will do the trick. Fury RE: Couple Qs for MC - Glenn Saunders - 11-18-2008 #1 and 2 are covered fairly clearly in the docs I think. ++++ Engineer Functions All Engineer units except for Bridgelayers (see below) are capable of: · Improving the ability to Dig-In · Bridge Damage and Anti-Tank Ditch Destruction · Ferrying units across Rivers and Canals · Mine Laying · Clearing Rubble RE: Couple Qs for MC - Aaron - 11-19-2008 Thanks guys thats what i thought but got an email that said they didnt, will pass that along to c if if hes wrong or if he can show us what its not doing.
