Organisation Editor Problem JTCS V1.04 - K K Rossokolski - 12-27-2008 I am playing around with some of the less well known aspects of WWII. Based on a very small amount of info in English, I am trying to develop a couple of scens based on the Italian invasion of Albania . I have done a couple of maps, and a while back I started an org.file. Trying to develop it further this AM, I opened the file, and noticed it was dated April 1930.(It should have read April 1939) The LH side of the screen, the Available units and orgs, was empty for Albania. I changed the date to April 1939, Albania still empty. I have noticed something similar with Ethiopia and the Spanish War, where org files saved for 1936 revert to 1930 when opened, but in these cases the LH page has goodies to move across. So it looks to this software expert that there is a bug in the OOB editor. In the meantime, if anyone can tell me where Albania is, I would be grateful...and please don't tell me NW of Greece. Would it help if I dumped JTCS and reinstalled it? I have the CD. RE: Organisation Editor Problem JTCS V1.04 - K K Rossokolski - 12-27-2008 Not a Scen Editor problem as such, but a source of confusion....to me at least. What is the difference between Russia and Soviet, and Red China and Chicoms? RE: Organisation Editor Problem JTCS V1.04 - Mr. Guberman - 12-27-2008 ...yeah, everytime I open a file...it is attached to an absurd date... I always make sure the correct date is displayed before I save. If you want a silly scenario for EF...here it is...just play to the death...it's got a lot of the goodies in it... Cheers Curt RE: Organisation Editor Problem JTCS V1.04 - K K Rossokolski - 12-27-2008 I found the Albanians..they come in late '41. I believe, however, there remains an issue with date instability, which is the best way I can describe it. |
