MACs partitioned for Vista etc - issues for my PZC games - cavalry corps - 12-29-2008 OK PC buffs Will I have any issues partitioning a drive on a new mac and loading vista - then loadng all the pzc ? Bacically windows will be on the mac Is this the only solution Any issues or advice much appreciated Regards Michael RE: MACs partitioned for Vista etc - issues for my PZC games - CarajoTester - 12-30-2008 Use "parallels" or some other virtual machine on your apple. I am not sure if double-booting on macs is still supported through bootcamp. http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/ Do a google for "apple bootcamp." RE: MACs partitioned for Vista etc - issues for my PZC games - Sgt Fury - 12-30-2008 Because the newer apples are x86 based you can run vista directly without emmulation or use of VM software. I have not done this myself but know it can be done -- some of my collegues at work have done so. You will probably have to search the internet for details. Anyway, once you're running vista, you're running vista and I would not expect any problems. Fury RE: MACs partitioned for Vista etc - issues for my PZC games - cavalry corps - 12-30-2008 Thanks guys Yes it will be the brand new machine with the 24 inch screen ! Michael |
