How does this work? - repickenz - 01-04-2009

How would I go about getting a game against some of you guys? Rzhev '42 and Stlingrad '42 are the games I got. Does everybody play through the email option for multiplayer?

I'd like to get some games going.

Thanks for the input. I really want to get some games against live opponents.

Hello Rich,
Welcome to the OpC ladder!

You have taken the first step to the excellent world of PBEM by posting your desire to play a human opponent, you have listed the titles you have but you might want to indicate the size of the scenario you wish to play, as you are just starting out i would suggest you play a small scenario of no more that 20 turns.

Also you might want to stick to the default optional rules if you are not 100% sure of which ones to use and make sure you have the most up to date patch.

Have fun! ;)

Do you have a link to these patches? I cant find em.

I'd be down for any size scenario.

Do people commonly connect through a IP or use that email file swap gimmick?

All the patch's are available from the HPS site, here is the link to the correct page HPS patch page , i would suggest again you start with a small scenario until you get some experience with PBEM, an article on how to PBEM is located here How to PBEM .

Hope that helps. :)
