which to buy - everton - 01-04-2009 am thinking off adding to my hps acw collection, which game out of corinth, franklin, vicksburg, atlanta or chickamauga gives in the opinion of blitz members the best most entertaining gameplay RE: which to buy - rahamy - 01-05-2009 I'd probably go with Atlanta, then Chick, then Vicksburg, the Corinth, and lastly Franklin. RE: which to buy - Landser34 - 01-13-2009 Im waiting on the Wargamer Financial Rescue plan that is working it way through Congress so that us hard hit wargamers in these tough economic times will be able to by wargames. LOL RE: which to buy - rahamy - 01-13-2009 LOL...yeah, you say that again! RE: which to buy - Thunder - 01-13-2009 That is too funny.... Thanks I needed that.... Thunder RE: which to buy - everton - 01-14-2009 think i will go with atlanta, what i dont understand is how hps can sell it at 49.99 and yet nws have it at 29.99 !! a bargain at any time RE: which to buy - rahamy - 01-14-2009 HPS is a Publisher, NWS is a reseller. Like any product there is an MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) and resellers can choose what they wish to sell the product for. In this case NWS makes virtually nothing off the games, which I don't really understand from a business perspective, but that's their choice. If HPS were to lower their prices it would drive some resellers out of business, reducing the reach and essentially hurt business. RE: which to buy - Havoc - 01-15-2009 It may be about sales volume, I'm just glad they're less expensive. |
