AIW Update - TheBigRedOne - 03-20-2009

IronX has put a new update to AIW on his site: http://ironxmods.wordpress.com/

This update includes 10 new scenarios by SAW and WW designer and SB player extraordinare Ozgur Budak. Along with these are various tweaks and updates.

That being said, I'm now fairly certain that the SB tourney here will be AIW. Plenty of stuff to chose from there...

Downloading now as we speak, thanks.

RE: AIW Update - TheBigRedOne - 03-21-2009

Great work.

The only minor downside to this and LW is that everytime you add an update, you have to overwrite SAW, causing the uninstall/install parade, unless there is a more direct, and quicker way to do this....

RE: AIW Update - IronX - 03-21-2009

No, it should just write directly to the Long War folder.

IronX Wrote:No, it should just write directly to the Long War folder.

For me, the LW 2.0 was a full re-install, or so it seemed. When I tried to run SAW, it gave me LW, which means I'll have to go and reisntall it at some point.

RE: AIW Update - IronX - 03-21-2009

My apologies, I was getting the two mods mixed up.

LW 2.0 is an entirely new version of the mod. With just about every file reworked it made sense to make it a complete file rather than just an enormous update.

AIW 1.2 is an update that just writes to the AIW folder.

I would expect all future releases to be small updates along the lines of the AIW update that just overwrites existing mod files.
