Seeking Soviet commander for S41 - Krak - 03-20-2009 Soviet commander wanted for S41 XP2 'The Drive on Smolensk'. Established players only with a turn around of 48-72 hours on average. Prefered optional rules attached. RE: Seeking Soviet commander for S41 - MasnarT - 03-21-2009 hmmm, i have never played this campaign before... and certainly i don't usually trust communist forces in combat (and don't like their very low mobility factor, they move on foot most times). but i just looked at the scenario, seems like the Germans arrive in great numbers, and build up strength turn after turn. I will take the challenge. I can deliver 1-2 turns per week. about the rules, can we just drop the Alternative Assault resolution and the VST? On mobility the Russians do have some very speedie tanks but they are a bit ronson-esque so to speak :) Expect my first move in a day or two.
