I just had a strange situation during the replay phase.

I am playing a PBEM scenario and when I got the turn from my opponent back the following thing happend.

I could see his units moving but suddenly one of my units got disrupted and I don't know why. There was no shooting atleast it was not shown to me.

When I tried to move my units, I just could'nt. Instead I got the message: Invalid command while under remote control.

I have another PBEM game running but without problems.

Does anybody know what it could be?

The turn before was no problem at all.

Try redoing the turn if your using 1.04 i get strange lock ups etc but when i redo the turn 99% ok.Maybe best to consult your opponent first though about what you want to do.

PS if 1.04 it always happens after the replay phase.IE watch the arty etc try to move a unit and semtimes it will move but at a very very slow pace next unit will do the same them nothing the game locks.

PS this only happens once in a blue moon but frustrating.

Thank you for your help. I think I will ask my opponent to redo his turn.

After the replay I even could not move my units. When I clicked on one unit and tried to move it to the next field, I got this message.

I just would like to let you know the result of the story.

My opponent gave me the tip to skip the replay. It seems that sometimes there can be a problem with it.

Anyway it helped and I can do my turn now.

ernst,

I've only seen this message when my opponent forgot to close his turn. You cannot move your own troops while in your opponents turn.
Ask your opponent if he closed the turn and if he encrypts his files with a password?

Thank you for your mail.

Maybe, but the whole thing was strange. I also tried to save enough points for unloading a unit. A message appeared which said something like: Can't buy enough wheels.

Somehow I thought I am in the wrong movie or so. Maybe I was just too long in the sun because it is getting warmer here on the Canary islands.:conf:

Anyway, I hope it will work from now on.
