Panzer Campaigns and original pacific war Who has been your hardest opponent? Krak (Michael) he is also my weekly board game player as well How long have you been a member of the Blitz? I joined in August 2007 What War interests you the most? WW2 Napoleonics war and US civil war If you could choose to be present at one military historical event what would it be? Battle of Hastings What is your favourite War movie? Saving Private Ryan and 12 0`clock high What do you snack on while gaming? We never snack while playing (smile) What is your favourite and least favourite aspect of the Blitz website? Meeting new players for games Do you own any war memorabilia? British/Australian WW2 helmet and a print (poster) of the Bismarck What is the best military book you have read? Too many to mention I have nearly 400 books/novels on military history I just finished book called The Great War (by Les Carlyon) about Australian soldiers in France in WW1 is good read What do you think was the single most important event of WWII? I think there are 3 first Germans allowing British soldiers to escape at Dunkirk, second attack on Russia, third Pearl harbor. What is the most interesting military documentary you have ever watched? Ken Burns The Civil War Which is your favourite HPS PzC title? Stalingrad Are there any war games catching your eye at present? ASL mainly but I like find us civil war game that covers whole war What piece of wisdom would you like to pass on to your fellow Blitz members? I am reading an excellent book on Alamein from it right now, by Jon Latimer. Well worth the read. |
