I will play you Joe, who starts ?

btw you might want to edit your post to change your email address, otherwise you will get spammed (not from here !).

Sir,

I have no other e-mail address.

Andrew kept that for himself.

Spammed?

I don't understand.

Joe

RE: Opponent wanted - Guderian - 07-01-2009

Joe,

There is software that recognizes email addresses and will send unwanted messages to the addresses it finds.

For additional information regarding spamming, go to the following link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_(electronic)

To avoid the software, while still being able to post your email address, you should spell out your email address as follows:

joe dot drover at gmail dot com

I'm not a computer expert, but I'm told that spam software does not recognize email addresses spelled out like above.

With respect to your original post, I will play you in West Front. I am an experienced opponent. I prefer to play with all options on except for Extreme Assault (EA) and Variable Visibility (VV).

I will email you my address.

RE: Opponent wanted - Mr. Guberman - 07-01-2009

...at the risk of sounding rude.

Watch out for those cats who will not play EA or Var Vis. They'
ve got their game. ...and will not have it fu??ed up with any of that. Been there and done that for a very long time. Var vis hardly makes a play at all...but they will not play it...'cause they want to slice you for lunch meat...prove me wrong. They have memorised their moves, on every turn...watch out...
...again...prove me wrong...

yeet.

PS...let's not say "sharks and sh8t"...shall we?

For the record, I have never played or spoken to Curt before; however, in America, everyone, even town drunks, are free to state their unfounded opinions.

God Bless America and Happy 4th of July everyone.

I'll second that. Both sentiments! :)

Though, in the light of free speech, I'd just like to say that some don't play with EA or VV because it does not make sense in light of the game's scale, or add "realism" to the game. It may help out the AI or a weaker player on the defense, but I still believe that the two new rules are artificial and not good for the game. :smoke:
I don't prefer to use either and I definately do not consider myself a shark. If I take on new players to the game it is to teach them how to play, regardless of their preference for assault setting. :chin:Whip
Though, I will absolutely not play with Variable Visibility.

Happy 4th. Remember Independence Day.

cheers

RR

Hi Joe: :)

I'll play "First Blood" (East Front) with you. I'll play Axis per your initial request, but note that scenario favors the German side (based on number of games won).

All optional rules = ON except Extreme Assault and Variable Visibility.

Look for my game turn shortly.

Good luck! :smoke:

Tongue in cheek, tongue in cheek boys...!

Guderian, Ed...sorry for any slight...

Sarcasm does not translate well over the web.

Cheers to all of you
Curt
