Team game for amatuers - Montana Grizz - 08-20-2009

I like team games, but am usually disappointed by the turn rate (slow) and often the strength of competition (getting my butt kicked) :hissy:

My current rating is a modest 1893 and I have a partner 1804 that would like to play a modestly sized 2x2 team game versus two people with similar ratings.

The modest size of the scenario should promote quicker movement and the restriction on player ability might keep the scenario from getting out-of-hand early on and maintain interest for all concerned.

Anyone interested should contact me directly at:

[email protected]

Thank you for any potential interest.

Pat

Either my partner and I are the only two people left on the Blitz with ratings in the 1800's or no one with my pathetic skill is interested in a team game

I'm willing to raise the limit for the competition if someone is interested in a modest size team game.

Let me know.

Thank you

Checking with my brother Chuck 10Mtn, we may be interested, I hear you on the long turn around. We are quick players, and if you are referring to the ELO on the ladders, we are right there with you let you know, when he gets back to me.

Sounds great Stuka,

We'll play something not too large and I know my partner and I will respond quickly.

I think we can get two full turns at least per week and and something around 20 turn won't go much beyond two months.

I'll look for something ever a little shorter and give you some suggestions once I know we have a match.

If you have something in mind, let me know.

I'll play, the last team game I tried was way too big and turn rate was very slow and boring.I would love to play much smaller scenario team games, I'm in!

Hey Grizz,
Stuka's brother here, its a go as far as I'm concerned. I sent him a e-mail so he should get it soon. let us know what you want to play. I suck at this game but enjoying losing all the same. Maybe Stuka44 can get me a win ???

Stuka got the message, pick us something Grizz, and we'll figure out what we command and get it back. We are both quick players and turnaround shouldn't be a problem. We all have about the same ratings, Lets get it on.

OK, I wil sent some choices to you tomorrow.

Discuss the scenarios and decide which you might want to play.

You guys pick the scenario, and get the choice of sides.
