Attn: seahawk - Iwo Jim - 02-19-2010 Hi Tony, Haven't heard from you in a whil I hope all is well, do you wish to continue our game....Jim RE: Attn: seahawk - Ratel - 02-20-2010 HI IJ, I was about to post the same question, if I haven't heard from Tony by the end of this week. I remember something about his father-in-law passing away and that he would be unavailable for a week or two, but this is now quite a long time of no comms with him. Even if he postpone the game for a few weeks more, it wouldn't matter, as long as all is OK on his side. Hope he responds on this. RE: Attn: seahawk - burroughs - 02-20-2010 Same thing on my side; Tony vanished off two games that we were playing in mid January and I haven't heard from him since then. But I guess he was present on-line later the same month. I gave him a flash once or twice just to find out if he's alright, but there was no reply at all. I was affraid a bit that something terribly wrong must have happened as he turned out to be quite a trustworhty and consitent opponent and moreover a nice guy so I did not expect him to disappear abruptly for no reason. But perhaps we've known each other no so well afer all. Keep yourself alive, Tony. RE: Attn: seahawk - Iwo Jim - 02-20-2010 His Father-in-law did pass away but I did receive a turn after that but its been about 3-4 wks since then RE: Attn: seahawk - Ratel - 02-20-2010 (02-20-2010, 06:02 AM)burroughs Wrote: I was affraid a bit that something terribly wrong must have happened as he turned out to be quite a trustworhty and consitent opponent and moreover a nice guy so I did not expect him to disappear abruptly for no reason. But perhaps we've known each other no so well afer all. That's what I am concerned about as well. I also found him to be very trustworthy with sending turns. I sent him an e-mail not game related, and didn't get an answer either. I hope he is OK health wise. Maybe a PC crash? Any of you American guys that can maybe give him a call? I'm sure I have got a an e-mail somewhere where he mentioned where he is located. Surely a surname such as Carangi cannot be too common around there. I would phone him myself if I could find a telephone directory for the US. I'll see if I can find it online somewhere, if it is available. Then there is the time difference, my days are his nights. RE: Attn: seahawk - burroughs - 02-20-2010 What I know for sure - he himself wrote that to me ( if anything online is be sure ...) that he lives in Philadelphia - I hope that I don't reveal anything that should not be revealed and Tony won't mind ...If so - sorry, mate - looks as if anybody feels moved and concerned. RE: Attn: seahawk - Ratel - 02-20-2010 OK, found an online telephone directory for the US. Looked up Tony Carangi and found a number in Philadelphia. Will check out what our time differences are and try to phone him two weeks from now. I am away on business next week. EDIT : Checked out the time difference, found that it should be at about 08:00 on his side of the world, decided to phone now but just got a voice message. Will try again two weeks from now. Thanks, Ratel, You're the man and that's what makes that community great. If I were a devout religious believer I guess I would say " ... God bless the community ... " RE: Attn: seahawk - Ratel - 02-27-2010 Tried again. Voice message again. Damn. RE: Attn: seahawk - burroughs - 03-08-2010 (02-27-2010, 12:38 AM)Ratel Wrote: Tried again. Voice message again. Damn.
