reputation - zap - 03-19-2010 I noticed on my post that you can see a warning level. I went to reputation under control panel it says its disabled. I noticed that no one else has that feature on their posts. How can I remove this, to not show up on my post? RE: reputation - Glint - 03-19-2010 I think the warning level is a notification of whether you've been a naughty boy on the forum,Zap, it's only visible to you, others' can't see it,as you can't see others! regards Glint RE: reputation - Kool Kat - 03-19-2010 (03-19-2010, 05:42 AM)glint Wrote: I think the warning level is a notification of whether you've been a naughty boy on the forum... Indeed? It's a feature that has been disabled. :) I believe "warnings" are also disabled? BTW... I just discovered there is a "My away status." Does it display some kind of icon on the Blitz forums... or just notify folks if they send you either a PM or email while you are away? :chin: RE: reputation - Glint - 03-19-2010 Well, mine's still 0% kk, lol! regards Glint RE: reputation - Herr Straße Laufer - 03-19-2010 (03-19-2010, 06:44 AM)Kool Kat Wrote:(03-19-2010, 05:42 AM)glint Wrote: I think the warning level is a notification of whether you've been a naughty boy on the forum... I would assume that the little "snowman" next to your avatar would display something else? :chin: HSL RE: reputation - Glint - 03-19-2010 (03-19-2010, 06:53 AM)Herr Straßen Läufer Wrote:(03-19-2010, 06:44 AM)Kool Kat Wrote:(03-19-2010, 05:42 AM)glint Wrote: I think the warning level is a notification of whether you've been a naughty boy on the forum... More intricacies ?!!! I would have thought if I'm online, it would show as such? Apparently the snowman shows otherwise and, looking at the controls, I couldn't be bothered to set it all up, just to have a chat! These intricacies all seem a bit too complicated for us old 'un's to bother with to be honest. regards Peter regards Peter RE: reputation - K K Rossokolski - 03-19-2010 [/quote] More intricacies ?!!! This stuff is about process, and has bugger-all to do with outcome. Might be fine for a club of computer nerds!! And BTW, I tried to quote Glint's reply #6 only, using the thingy that says "Quote this message in a reply". That says message...singular, which to my simple mind does not mean the whole ^*~ing thread. RE: reputation - Glint - 03-19-2010 bewildering innit, Rod? !!!!! regards Peter RE: reputation - K K Rossokolski - 03-19-2010 It beats me Peter. It seems that I didn't show the whole thread after all... it was just the Preview post function that showed that. RE: reputation - Kool Kat - 03-19-2010 Gents: :smoke: Personally, I like the "new" Blitz Website with additional functionality and options. :) Folks who don't want to learn about the Control Panel do not have to in order to post messages and participate in threads? :chin: Others who like to explore and tinker with various optional settings to enhance their online experience, are also able to do so? :chin: A win-win situation for everyone? :cool2: |
