Should engineers be able to collect new bridges from Corp/Army HQs if they abandon t - Mike Bowen - 04-02-2010 yes or no RE: Should engineers be able to collect new bridges from Corp/Army HQs if they abandon t - P.Ako - 04-02-2010 My pool is cooler! it has the options in various languages! Now seriously, i think that engineering units could be greatly improved, ranging from light (capable only of mine clearing, bridge/obstacle blowing and would be ultra slow clearing rubble. These units would be the typical airborne and militia ad-hoc engineers) , medium (capable of mine clearing, blowing and setting mines), heavy (capable of all previous things plus receiving a plus to rubble clearing due to their equipment and could lay obstacles also) and finally Bridge engineers (which are already into the game and should be the ones who could collect the abandoned pontoons brideges) RE: Should engineers be able to collect new bridges from Corp/Army HQs if they abandon t - Liebchen - 04-03-2010 Is there some data that shows that Army or Corps HQs kept bridges on hand? RE: Should engineers be able to collect new bridges from Corp/Army HQs if they abandon t - Dog Soldier - 04-03-2010 I have to agree with Liebchen. The feature to allow engineers to abandon bridges was predicated on them losing the ability to build another bridge for the duration of the sceanrio. Changing this as P.Ako is asking in his poll would create too much gamey play. Dog Soldier |
