Looking for an opponent - UK vs GE (NA) 6/1942 - Greybeard - 04-14-2010 Hello out there.. things are opening up a little and I have time to add one more game.. Been a little slow lately, appologies to JadPanther and Jolly Roger.. should have turns out to you this PM.. anyway.. back to the subject.. looking for an opponent WW2: meeting engagement in North Africa; UK (me) vs Germany in June 1942.. map at least 120/120, visibility appx 30, turns appx 40.. points: approx.. 12K-15K (yeah, a big one) 2 companies max of elite troops (experience/morale +10 or greater) 2 snipers max per company 4 size '0' units per company max (includes snipers; excludes AT guns) 5% of points for artillery (off map/on map) only one (1) ammo supply unit for every 4 artillery units on map Mortars that are integral to an infantry company are exempt from point restrictions, BUT allowed no reloads purchasing SP guns and using 'z' fire in lieu of artillery is frowned upon.. same for MG fire for supression in lieu of artillery assets.. please keep it reasonable :) air strikes can be discussed, but if allowed, so are paratroops.. airborne para's exempt from elite unit restrictions.. whew.. Any takers? 1st come 1st serve oh, yeah.. one last request.. 88's in 1942 were assigned to FLAK units.. Rommel found how effective they were against armor and used them.. but he had far fewer 88's available than the std 50mm PAK's.. please be reasonable with your qty of 88's even though the game has them readily available as 'heavy AT'.. we can discuss if need be. Regards, Greybeard RE: Looking for an opponent - UK vs GE (NA) 6/1942 - Ratel - 04-14-2010 I would have loved to, but I've got my hands full with all the games I'm already involved in at the moment. Maybe next time.
