calling fastphil: email problems - Kai - 09-01-2010 Hi Philip, sent my turn at Saturday and get an error message today:-( Tried it again minutes before and hope the best. If this mail comes not through too, do you have another mail adress? Somebody here who knows what this error message means and if I can do something? Connected_to_207.115.21.24_but_sender_was_rejected./Remote_host_said:_451_4.7.7_Excessive_userid_unknowns_from_213.165.64.22_flpd241/I'm_not_going_to_try_again;_this_message_has_been_in_the_queue_too_long./ Regards, Kai RE: calling fastphil: email problems - Scud - 09-01-2010 It means the recipient's server thinks you're spamming. Was he the only one you were sending to? In other words, it's implying you addressed the email, either directly or through cc's, to many recipients (usually more than 10). He needs to contact his ISP to find out what their restrictions are. You should contact yours as well, though, in case it's your ISP's email server that's being flagged. Dave RE: calling fastphil: email problems - Kai - 09-01-2010 Hi Dave, thanks for your advice. Checked it and nobody was in CC or BC, only one recipient. Have something like this from time to time with one other oponnent and so far he could sort it always out with his provider. Hope Phil can do the same because as far as I can see my mail provider has no email adress, only an expensive hotline:-( Regards, Kai RE: calling fastphil: email problems - fastphil - 09-01-2010 (09-01-2010, 05:50 AM)Kai Wrote: Hi Dave, got it today.
