Falklands 2010 --New Sceneria - Gibratar - 09-12-2010 Hi, A dispute over oil in the South Atlantic has Argentina mounting an assault on the Falkland Islands. The zip contains two sceneria, one an assault on Mt Pleasant and the other an assault on a hypothetical artilley base near Mt Pleasant. They can be played as two separate battles, or they can be played as two co-ordinated battles using Chapters 1 and 5 of the "Special Rules" which are also in the zip. Extensive scerio notes are provided. Optionally, there are bonuses for various things and a specially modified Blitz scoresheet is enclosed. Any feedback would be welcome. Gunslngr and I have just played them from both sides as a pair of co-ordinated battles and found them to be enjoyable. Gibratar RE: Falklands 2010 -- New Sceneria REVISION - Gibratar - 09-12-2010 Hi, I found a couple of naming anomalies in some of the units in the Mt Pleasant battle which I have now corrected. These have no effect on game play. Gibratar RE: Falklands 2010 --New Sceneria - gabeeg - 09-15-2010 Thanks! Looking forward to giving this a go... RE: Falklands 2010 --New Sceneria - Walrus - 09-15-2010 I have DL this and had a quick look at the Airfield attach scen. Looks impressive! Will have more of a go when I get the chance...no time for me to play the AI these days :-) Thanks for sharing RE: Falklands 2010 --New Sceneria - Gibratar - 09-16-2010 Hi, 1 Due to the way the AI handles an attack if playing against the AI the human player should be Argentina. 2 These are now on the Blitz scenario list. The test battles that Gunslngr and I had with these showed a deficiency in the UK defenses. The scenaria on the Blitz site have had the British force enhanced to compensate. Gibratar |
