Moving to marsh? - Skryabin - 10-09-2010 I have two identical engineer units trying to move to the similar marsh hexes. One of them, 1st company (on the right) can move to SE marsh hex, but 3rd company for some reason can not move to a similar one NW. On those pictures their Reachable Hexes are showing. ![]() Does anyone have any clue what is going on? Dmitriy RE: Moving to marsh? - P.Ako - 10-09-2010 The engineers on the left can't deploy there because they're using bikes to move while the ones on the right are moving by foot. That's the reason. That's the reason. Yes, that's it. Thank you! So that horisontal 8 is for bikes? For some rason I thought those are binoculars, lol. ![]() Dmitriy RE: Moving to marsh? - Mr Grumpy - 10-09-2010 If you look at the left hand graphic you can see the "spotted" binoculars symbol on the opposite side to the bike symbol. I agree, easy to mix up. RE: Moving to marsh? - P.Ako - 10-09-2010 BTW i readed "Moving to mars?" and then the idea of a "future campaigns: Mars 2150" game came to my mind ![]() RE: Moving to marsh? - Skryabin - 10-10-2010 (10-09-2010, 09:26 PM)P.Ako Wrote: BTW i readed "Moving to mars?" and then the idea of a "future campaigns: Mars 2150" game came to my mindYes, SPzC -Space Panzer Campaigns:cool2: One more question: why do they have bikes? Does it give them some benefit? Because it is showing speed 4 for both of them... Dmitriy RE: Moving to marsh? - Ricky B - 10-10-2010 The bikes are a different movement class, setup with its own terrain costs compared to foot units. Generally, the bicycle units would have higher road type movement in travel mode, while being the same or maybe worse in clear/forest terrain. Rick |
