PATTON'S GAMBIT, H2H APPROVED - Bear - 10-13-2010 This scenario is posted for Ladder play. BROLO, SICILY 11 AUGUST 1943 Patton was unaware, that at the moment his amphibious landing (units of 3.Infantry Division) commanded by Colonel Bernard was happening, the orders for a German disengagement by General Hube was already in motion with an organized retreat of the tough 71.Panzer Grenadier Regiment, 29.PzG.Div., eastward through Brolo, Sicily. The Americans may have surprise for the moment, but with a German mechanized regiment already moving towards the American's objective was far more than anyone foresaw. This is an historical scenario covering the two battles of the village Brolo and Naso Ridge, Sicily. Here on Highway 113 we have land and sea assets. This is a bloody see saw engagement. A tournament level scenario (for complexity and 10,000+ force pool). Ideal for three player game (two German vs US) v3.0 RE: PATTON'S GAMBIT, CMAK scenario - Mr Grumpy - 10-14-2010 Well done Bear for scenario number eight on the CM H2H approved list! The complete list is here CM Approved scenarios RE: PATTON'S GAMBIT, H2H APPROVED - Hedgehog - 10-14-2010 I should like to add my congratulations Bert...Keep up the Good Work mate RE: PATTON'S GAMBIT, H2H APPROVED - cargol - 10-14-2010 Another great scenario by Bear!
