DF '85 Opponent Wanted - Closed - tbridges - 10-17-2010 Looking for a NATO opponent for the big campaign in Danube Front, or even Zemke's massive WWIII mod if you're up for it Drop me an email and we'll discuss details! Tom tbridges (at) carolina (dot) rr (dot) com RE: DF '85 Opponent Wanted - panzer cat - 10-17-2010 haven't played a pbem game before, willing to do a smaller scenario. panzer cat RE: DF '85 Opponent Wanted - tbridges - 10-17-2010 Thanks for your response Scott, I appreciate it, but I'm really looking to play the big 161 turn Alt version of the main stock campaign, or the huge 350 turn monster WWIII mod from Zemke. Tom RE: DF '85 Opponent Wanted - Outlaw Josey Wales - 10-18-2010 You do realise it will take you hours to do a turn. I've played them both to conclusion before. Sometimes four+ hours per turn, especially early in the game. I play WitPAE too - also an enormous game. I just prefer to play one or two big games at a time rather than half a dozen smaller ones. This old brain can only concentrate on one war at a time! Tom RE: DF '85 Opponent Wanted - panzer cat - 10-18-2010 if anyones looking to play a smaller scenario i have fulda and danube. I don't think I'd be a good opponent for the full campaign....yet. wargaming for 30yrs so I do understand the learning curve at the beginning of a game can be steep. panzer cat RE: DF '85 Opponent Wanted - Outlaw Josey Wales - 10-18-2010 (10-18-2010, 01:58 AM)tbridges Wrote:(10-18-2010, 12:05 AM)Outlaw Josey Wales Wrote: You do realise it will take you hours to do a turn. hahahaha Well at least you can concentrate on one. That's more than I can say for myself. :) |
