Armor Main Gun Ammo Load Question - Compass Rose - 10-29-2010 During a current game turn, I select one of my tanks and under Select Weapon Load, I select to use HE ammo, and fire the main gun during that turn. If during the following turn (the enemy's turn), enemy armor comes into view of my tank, will my tank fire at the enemy tank using HE ammo or will it automatically switch to AP ammo? Always switch it back to AP if you think your op fire will be at armor. Working on the House to House expansion I set up a file to illustrate this and so John and John have seen it. I believe they addressed it. RE: Armor Main Gun Ammo Load Question - Nikb - 10-30-2010 If I have been using illumination or smoke rounds in my mortars I always check at the end of a turn to make sure that they are back to HE. If they haven't been changed then you risk using up your valuable illumination/smoke allowance or firing at an enemy unit with harmless rounds. RE: Armor Main Gun Ammo Load Question - Laza - 10-30-2010 Can be a real pain in some scns as the armour weapon loading is at default HE. I be caught out a few times witht that as have wasting smoke with a mortar shot.
