SU-152 - Iwo Jim - 11-21-2010 This is started life as a Tamiya 1/35 scale KV-2, the hull pretty much built strait from the box modified slightly to accommodate the super structure which is a vacuformed mod for this kit, gun barrel and muzzel brake are scratch built. RE: SU-152 - Imp - 11-21-2010 Damn see now if Itried doing something like this it would come on a damn big presentation unit. Most likely the table I had managed to stick it to during the build process. Seriously its the fine detail you guys manage to get in the painting that makes these things RE: SU-152 - Vesku - 11-21-2010 Paint couple of shoeprints on the deck and you can't tell if this is a model or not :) RE: SU-152 - wigam - 11-21-2010 Nice job Jim. RE: SU-152 - keepitloki - 11-22-2010 Absolutely. Great work. RE: SU-152 - brm_3k - 11-24-2010 Yes, excellent job! Alex RE: SU-152 - Walrus - 11-24-2010 That's great scratch building there bro. Very good filtering work on the paint too. I am having a wee crack at some armour at the moment, it's quite different from aircraft, and I am learning heaps. Thanks for sharing. RE: SU-152 - Iwo Jim - 11-24-2010 Thanks guys, its been about 7 years since I've built anything but I'm certainly starting to get the itch again |
