RE: GD TOURNAMENT ENDS - Dog Soldier - 11-28-2010 Thank you Sergio for an interesting tournament with a special theme of following a single unit through the PzC series. Hopefully this can be done again with a famous Allied unit. Congratulations to Bioman on his first tournament win here at the blitz. Dog Soldier RE: GD TOURNAMENT ENDS - sergio - 11-28-2010 Interesting... It can be done a Tournament about an US airborne unit: 82nd Airborne was in Sicily, Normandy, Arnhem and Bulge... XXX British Corps was at North Africa, Alamein Battle, Sicily, Normandy, Market Garde, Bulge. 7th Armoured Division (Desert Rats) was in North Africa, Salerno, Normandy, and Market Garden. There are a lot of options. RE: GD TOURNAMENT ENDS - Liebchen - 12-02-2010 Why don' t you focus a tourney on Kilroy? He made an appearance in every major and minor operation that the Americans participated in. RE: GD TOURNAMENT ENDS - sergio - 12-02-2010 You're right! I saw him in the film Kelly's heroes. ;) |
