Salute the Cockleshell Heroes! - Kool Kat - 12-07-2010 Gents: Today is Pearl Harbor Day... let us never forget our military personnel sacrifices on that dreadful day... and ALL days. I thought it would be a fitting tribute on this day to share with folks another sacrifice made by brave men who set out in canoes and kayaks to take the battle to the enemy during World War Two. These are the Cockleshell Heroes... and I have additional information and links to the exploits of these brave souls on my kayak blog.
