Coy? - Compass Rose - 12-17-2010 I've played a few PzC games where some of the units had the word/letters Coy in the description. What exactly does Coy stand for? Thanks RE: Coy? - Gasbag - 12-17-2010 (12-17-2010, 07:20 AM)Checkmate King 2 Wrote: I've played a few PzC games where some of the units had the word/letters Coy in the description. I believe that it's the short form for company. RE: Coy? - Compass Rose - 12-17-2010 I always thought Co. was short for Company? RE: Coy? - Volcano Man - 12-17-2010 Yes, "Co" is short for company, in US terminology. However "Coy" is short for company in British / Commonwealth terminology. "Cie" is company abbreviation in French units, Kp is company abbreviation in German units, and so on. RE: Coy? - Compass Rose - 12-17-2010 Ahh, OK! Thanks for the different examples. I had no idea on any of them except Co.! |
