Feeding time shorty?
Maybe you can train me next. I had a stroke Saturday and after getting robbed by the medics I got back home and plopped meself down into my computer chair. After going thru the rituals I loaded up a game turn. I looked at the screen and thought; "that's pretty. It looks interesting. I wonder what it is?"
I guess that part of my brain got wiped. Oh well. I figure learning to play again will kill some time between PT sessions. I suspect my planned tourney will be pushed back a bit. It does need a lot of work.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you are feeling better. As for "Feeding Time" , you never know you're in the pool with. I'll send you something in the 70's in Europe. Do you have prefs for sides and limits?

If USA, I want LAWS and dragons. I seem to remember not having much luck with using bazookas and P-38's to fight off hordes of T-62's.
If Soviet, I don't care.
Before the 80's all the budget went to the Navy and Air Farce. U S Army was pretty much cannon fodder. After the M1A1 was fielded the Soviets took over the roll of cannon fodder. There is a brief period there in the late 70's early 80' where the sides are sorta balanced.
no 57mm AA guns . model 60 I think. The ACC for the Soviets is 60, the rest of the world is 16 or 18. 16 I think, which would make that 60 a typo. anyway, with an ACC of 60, they never miss. they also shoot around corners and over hills. Pen of 17 so it kills what it hits. Range of 80. I have had them kill uh-1's in a valley behind 2 hills, landed. Can't run, can't hide, why bother?

I'll set something up. I'm thinking USSR advance vs Norway delay 75-77ish. I'll most likely be using troops from one of the MTLB equiped divisions they had up north. I may have some ZSU-57s, but no towed S-60s. The problem with those is their FC of 105 due to their "Fire Can" radar system. The problem with SP is that you cannot seperate the radar vehicles from the guns themselves. There would have been 1 radar for a 6 or 8 gun battery.

RE: Looking for MBT game. - low_bidder - 01-06-2011

Actually I think you could. Give the radar a slot in a infantry unit that would be the zero unit for the battery. that would allow the command and control feature to determine if the guns fired at the target. as long as the radar in the slot had it's fire power numbers zeroed out, that might work
Or am I barking up a different tree?
Set-up on the way. U Ami, '79 me rooskie. Lots of iron carts. I remember how much you enjoy a target rich environment.

No, I'm afraid that that won't work because one unit can't affect anothers accuracy. I might git it a try though. :chin:
